This site is the home of the History of Black Writing Works workset, a collection of African American authored volumes found in the HathiTrust Digital Library.
The GitHub repository, of which this site is a part, includes an introduction to the workset, a list of volumes in the workset, data sets derived from analysis of the workset, and a project report discussing the process of curating and analyzing the workset.
